Lola and the "Big Black Monster"

So the weekly cleaning took place today, and to Lola's despise-I broke out the "big black loud monster. terrified she runs into the bedroom.
"NOT THAT THING AGAIN...."
she screams. I run the monster in the living room-the whole time Lola is in the bed room shaking out of her fur. The loud monster stops.
"is it done"? "Did it leave"?
Then the door to the bed room opens, and the big, loud, black monster corners her in the bed room! "
What to do!?"
Lola wonders in fright. she jumps on the bed to plan her escape. While the monsters tail gets plugged into the wall, she dives off the bed, and makes a break for the door!
"whew" she thinks. "I made it"!!
The monster gets started up again...WRONG! She breaks for the living room couch-as far away from the loud beast as possible, still shaking. after a few minutes...it stops again. Then to her displeasure, it comes out of the bed room. This time its tail is all tucked up, and it goes back into its cave. Lola had dodged the big black loud monster again. She is safe......for now........
"Its okay Lola." her dad says. "I'm done vacuuming"

Releaved-Lola lays down on the couch, closes her eyes, and dozes off.

Dog Days Of Summer: The Begining

So the girlfriend and I have a dog. She is a 2 year old Beagle/Spaniel mix. She is the funniest dog. I sometimes wonder what goes on it that little head of hers.

  • When she's sitting on the back of the couch looking out the window
  • When she's playing with other dogs at the park
  • When she's napping, and her little paws start flinching, and then all of a sudden.....barks.
  • When she's doing her business outside

Whatever the situation is at the time. I have just found my mind wondering sometimes about what is going on in that head of hers. I will attempt to make a humorous blog here, about a day in the life of Lola. Including, but not limited to the above scenarios. I appreciate all feedback as to what y'all think.

As I type this-Lola is laying on the couch sound asleep, but snout twitching. Like she is having a dream. I have turned my music off to listen for anything, but to no avail. Anywho-This will be a blog that will be updated more often, I think since it will be one that comes from my imagination, and Lola's actions-so there will be more area to cover. Anyways...Stay tuned.

(on a completely unrealeted note: I think it is HILARIOUS that "Y'all" is in the blogger spell check. AWESOME!)
